A "SuperGroupTM" is what it sounds like a group above other groups. Groups are hierarchical entities, and yet most programs that deal with groups are distinctly flat and unhierarchical. Many groups need central control, monitoring, and reporting, but don’t have this.
Consider a typical Boy Scout troop. The Boy Scout USA organization is a hierarchical structure from each scout to the top national Director. This organizational structure helps keep the program consistent across the country and makes the movement of members from one Boy Scout unit to another.
Now consider if a local troop builds their own website, or uses Facebook, or has a Yahoo! Group the higher levels of the organization see none of this. And then what about Area or Council websites and group activities these are not connected to any lower level sites either. There’s no consistent privacy control, tracking of activities, or central visibility into all things Scouting. By enabling all elements of Scouting to exist where they want, but under a more unified umbrella, MoxMe! provides a true hierarchical and consolidated view of the overall organization.
